Friends, Golf & Competition
PGL was born from a simple truth: we love our Pour Guys community and our SF hospitality friends, and we also love to golf. In 2019, we combined the two. The Par Guys League was formed by 11 bartenders and Tyler.
After that first season, the league started to grow through word of mouth. It started with golf but what we built was something bigger: a tight-knit community built around rhythm, competition, and showing up.
Two core pillars have shaped the league ever since: Community and Player Progression.
PGL is how you finally meet those friends of friends you’ve always wanted to golf with. It’s not a one-off tournament. It runs year-round, with clear structure and room to grow. With over 150 members and counting, the league keeps expanding.
We give members the tools to improve: detailed stats, in-person support, and a format that fits into real life. You’ll play a 9-hole course for a full season, learning each hole and improving through repetition. Skill levels vary, but everyone’s here to help each other get better.
We love what the Par Guys League has become. Finally, there’s a home for the degenerates and their clubs.
